Customizable Comfort
The Elvie Stride features 10 intensity settings and two modes. The Single Switch-pumping rhythm starts in Stimulation mode and then, after two minutes, switches to Expression mode. The device can be used as a single or double pump, with each cup holding up to 5 ounces or 150 milliliters.
The cycle rate is linked to the different intensity levels. When using a higher intensity, the suction is stronger but the pumping cycle is slower. Lower intensity levels result in the opposite, with reduced suction and faster pumping cycles.
Stimulation and Expression modes use different pumping rhythms to promote milk flow. Stimulation mode uses a faster rhythm to trigger milk let-down. Expression mode uses a slower rhythm to stimulate milk flow.
